Join India’s largest school essay competition by the Tata Group!
The Tata Building India School Essay Competition is a platform that empowers young minds to express their ideas on nation building and encourages the leaders of tomorrow to make their mark through powerful writing.
Over the past 15+ years, the initiative has reached more than 33 million students across 500+ cities.
This nationwide competition is conducted in 13 languages and is open to students from Grades 6 to 12 (Junior Category: Grades 6–8; Senior Category: Grades 9–12). Students will write an essay on a topic of national importance, evaluated at three levels — school, city, and national.
The winners and runners-up are rewarded at 3 levels: first at the school level, followed by city level and finally at the national level.
The national level winners are felicitated in New Delhi. National level winners and runners-up get a chance to visit the Rashtrapati Bhavan and a face-to-face meeting with a national dignitary.
